WHITE BEESWAX

INCI Name :
PARAFFIN, C12-C18 TRIGLYCERIDES, CERA ALBA, STEARIC ACID

Indications

Protective, film-forming, hardening

Applications

White beeswax is obtained after purification and decolorization of raw beeswax (Cera Alba). It retains all the functional properties of natural wax while presenting a light color and a very discreet odor, making it especially suitable for cosmetic formulations that require visual and olfactory neutrality.

Cosmetic indications

White beeswax is ideal in care products where consistency and protection are needed, without coloring or altering the fragrance of the formula. It is commonly used in creams, lip balms, emulsions, and cosmetic sticks. Its softness and neutrality make it a versatile and widely adopted wax.

Specific components and properties

INCI: Paraffin, C12–C18 Triglycerides, Cera Alba, Stearic Acid.
It contains fatty acid esters, natural hydrocarbons, and stearic acid. Its combination with paraffin and triglycerides enhances the plasticity and stability of formulations. As a film-forming agent, it creates a protective barrier that limits skin dehydration.

Practical uses

  • Face and body care: neutral balms, protective creams.
  • Lips: colorless lip sticks and balms.
  • Hair care: clear styling waxes, protective treatments.
  • Sun or tinted products: ideal neutral base to avoid altering colors.
